The UT series is the refrigeration unit for truck single and multi-temperature self-powered refrigeration system. This refrigeration units have undermount application on trucks and draw-bar semi-trailers.

The UT series has been designed keeping in mind the problem related to noise pollution, particularly for urban and night time deliveries. The UT-800, UT-1200 and UT Spectrum were designed to face this problem.
Thermo King started from reducing noise from the source: the transmission belt and the fans were placed in the back of the unit; this guarantees a reduction of the noise compared to other configurations.
This, in addition to the use of absorbent foam materials and a technology to reduce the noise, make the UT series quieter compared to competitor systems.
